Qualifications
- Over 7 years experience as a certified massage therapist.
- Nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
- Professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
- Graduate of the Wellness and Massage Therapy Institute in Woodridge, IL in January 2003.
- Continuing education in CranioSacral therapy from the Upledger Institute.
- Continuing education in massage therapy for people living with cancer.
- Two years experience as a massage therapist in a hospital setting which included providing massage for people with cancer.
Professional
- Volunteered massage therapy services to firefighters, teachers, library employees and residents of a women’s shelter.
- Over 30 years experience as a medical technologist in a local hospital.
Personal
- Life long resident of the Michianna area. My husband and I live in Edwardsburg with a menagerie of animals. We (my husband and I) enjoy gardening, camping, bicycling and kayaking together.
- B.S.degree in music from IUSB.
- Member of Lake Effect Winds, a woodwind quintet.
- Currently learning some Italian in anticipation of a trip to Italy in the spring of 2010.
